Clothing and Other Physical Features: Noelle resembles a beautiful Asian woman with almond eyes and a perfectly curved and proportioned body. She wears the standard Royal Guard uniform, which is slightly modified to denote she is a medic. It starts with a form-fitting, breathable grey shirt. Over this is a white kinetic armor chestplate, with a red stripe across the middle, going around the circumference and short red vertical stripe down the middle to form a red cross. On the armor's left breast is the Royal Guard crest. Her outer layer is a sleeveless white coat with indigo blue edges, and the same insignae as the armor. The buttons and the coat opening are off-center on the right breast. The right side of the coat goes straight down to just above the knee. Meanwhile, the left side goes down to just above the crotch, then sharply angles left, and then goes straight down to just above the knee. This way, it gives the appearance of symmetry with a space up the middle for mobility. In spring and summer, the coat materials are thinner. The parts of the coat that wrap around the thighs can be strapped to the thighs so that they don't inconveniently wave around. She also wears the standard-issue grey cargo pants and shining black boots. Her helmet, like her kinetic armor, is marked by a large red cross against a square white background, which is Eden's standard medical symbol. Under the Global Rules of Engagement treaty, all medics who bear this symbol are deemed inelligible targets, and are forbidden to carry weapons. White medical bracers and gloves complete the outfit.

Personality: When she's around people she's unfamiliar with, she can be shy, intrinsic, and reflective, but around her friends she's the loudest of the bunch. She loves to be active, outdoors, and can get bored easily if she's in one place too long.

Character Background/History:

In the Juin militaristic culture, women are cast in a supporting role. This was a tradition set forth by the second Juin King, during a time when the Juin race was still suffering from the horrors of relocation. Out of desperation, the King decreed that a woman's place was in the home, and her sole duty was to breed and raise men to become soldiers. Over time, as the Juin population recovered, women applied their skills outside the home by working as nurses, counselors, and administrators. This tradition lasts in Juin to the current day, and in general people are content to stay this way.

Noelle is the first woman in the Juin Army ever to have a combat assignment. She started out as a standard hospital nurse at age 16, but her medical skills, a love for the outdoors, and an extraordinary ki potential caught the eye of a few senior officers. The local hospital felt like a prison to her; she couldn't stand to see the same white walls everyday, and she could tell it was driving her insane. Her parents started wondering if their daughter was crazy as well when she told them she applied to the army as a combat medic. The forces against her were overwhelming, both from her parents, the community, and chauvenist officers who felt that women didn't belong on the battlefield. However, they couldn't deny that she had extraordinary skills, both in the medical field and in wilderness survival. Her enlistment would have made national headlines, but the King ordered the story censored. One condition of her enlistment was that she would receive no special treatment, and no stock soldier ever took the front page of the news just for recruiting.

However, from the moment Noelle entered training camp, it was clear she was special. The men couldn't help but stare at this beautiful woman in their ranks, especially when it came time to shower. The officers knew that she was a distraction, but they saw it as one more opportunity to enforce and encourage discipline. They did their best to keep her safe and comfortable, and after the initial drama of basic training, she was transferred to a special combat medic training facility, where there were less total men to worry about. Then, when Noelle finally met the combat unit she was attached to, the tensions resumed. While out in the wilderness for extended periods, where Noelle was the only woman (and she was beautiful) around for miles, it was a challenge to keep discipline. At first, it seemed like the unit could never bond together, but over time, they came to accept her.

Then came the Mangellan War. The Unit marched forth as part of General Dieter's expeditionary force, and they saw action through the battle of Kandid, where they settled as a garrison. In the heat of battle, Noelle saved lives and gave peace to those in the last moments of lives she couldn't save. Noelle was their beautiful sister, and they were her brothers. They were happy just to have her, and she was the trophy that they held up for all of the other units to see.

She entered the army at age 20, and her exceptional skill awed even some of the most experienced doctors. Unlike common medics, who need tools and equipment to perform their duties, she could perform medical techniques straight from her body. After her service in the Mangellan War, she was nominated as a Royal Guard candidate shortly before turning 23. Today, she serves honorably in the Royal Guard as Combat Medic 1st Class, where she continues to strive for the respect of those around her.

Class II Abilities:

Kinetic Armor - Since most soldiers cannot hide their power level, the armor allows the soldier to hide his power level below naturally detectable levels regardless of how powered up he is. For example, He can be at power level 1000000 and it still will only register as 7. The chestplate and gloves allow him to absorb ki blasts, store the energy, and then shoot them back out. Safeguards and vents keep the armor from absorbing too much and breaking down.

Medical Bracers - The Rules of Engagement forbid medics to be visibly armed. Noelle's Bracers have a standard shield emitter, but no baraka blade emitter. Instead, fiberoptic wires run through special gloves to her finger-tips, where she can focus the energy to form precise ki scalpels. Some blades are so fine that they cannot be seen by the naked eye. Medics also use these bracers to focus their energy to perform medical techniques, but unlike common medics, Noelle can also form standard size scalpels and perform other techniques purely with her own ki, without the aid of bracers.

Needles - Juin medics carry hundreds of needles with them that resemble long pin needles. While they look thin, they are also hollow, so that small medicine vials can be attached to the top and medecine can drain through them when they are stuck in a patient. In addition to this, Noelle carries custom needles filled with the same ki-capacitor foam used in the power cells of Energy Rifles. She can infuse these needles with her own energy to give them either anesthetic quality, electric quality, healing quality, or simple ki quality. Her custom needles are also aerodynamically shaped with small fins on one end to make them effective for throwing. This is useful when pinned down under heavy fire, where a patient is difficult to reach.

Anesthesia - A nurse's touch in itself is incredibly relaxing. She can infuse energy through her hand to make a body part numb like local anesthesia, that way she can perform surgery on the spot. By infusing great enough energy on certain parts of the body she can even make a person fall completely asleep.

Defibrilator - She focuses her ki at a certain wavelength to incite electrical current, which she surges through a patient's body to restart stopped hearts.

Polytelekinesis - When a patient is dying, every second counts. her mind is so advanced that it can metaphorically split to perform multiple tasks at once. Unlike most telekinesis techniques, which allow a user to pick up large items with their mind, her ability allows her to pick up many small objects and control each one with precision. She can't lift more than 50lbs with it, but she can precisely control almost 50 different objects at once. During the Mangellan War, this ability saved hundreds of lives that would have otherwise been lost.

Class III Ability:

Healing - Through years of practice, Noelle's healing abilities are incredibly advanced. She can heal burns and deep tissue wounds in seconds, repair broken bones in minutes, restore limbs in under an hour, and raise a "fully healed" (one without major damage) body from the dead in less than a day, provided it hasn't been dead for longer than fifteen minutes. She can also restore a person to full power. Her immense ki potential, which rivals some of Juin's most powerful warriors, gives her great durability while performing multiple healings.
