Clothing: Typically a Black uniform with black kinetic armor, with a black cloak. His bracers and gloves are also black. He donnes a cloth mask and a visor. Two circular microphones are located on his throat for communication. According to the mission, his uniform may have a camouflauge scheme. Personality: As the oldest member of the Juin Infiltrators, Garin is the most mature, calm, and professional. He has the most patience and peace of mind and he takes his unofficial role of "father" of the team seriously. He has many partiarchial traits and likes to give advice. Because of Garin's observer training and psychic prowess, he's an excellent multi-tasker.

Character Background/History:
Juin Infiltrators are the most elite level of the Juin special forces. Each member must first be a member of the Royal Guard before being qualified to take the entrance exam, and then they are submitted to ultra-rigorous Infiltrator training. Each one is a certified sniper and can perform the job of a normal soldier with at least 200% efficiency. While they rely primarily on stealth and suprise, their strength is sufficient to take on a group much larger than their own. Infiltrator tactics take advantage of this strength/stealth combination by utilising close hit-and-fade tactics. Each one will appear, strike, fade away, and then stike again from another angle. Their speed and numbers often causes confusion amongst the enemy, rendering any defense ineffective.

Garin was a captain in the Royal Guard who was offered promotions to Brigade Commander multiple times, but always turned them down. He'd grown attached to his small band of Guards and refused to leave them. He was one of the oldest and most experienced soldiers among the Guard and his hand-to-hand fighting and leadership skills were on the top tier. Garin often spent his free time taking long backpacking trips through the Juin outback and was reknown as a animal tracker. These skills made him a perfect candidate for the Observer School, where he quickly graduated as a Certified Spotter.

When General Neojiisu began the first Juin Infiltrator program, Garin was the second person asked for and the last to join. He refused to leave the Guard he'd known and cared for for so many years. He was also the only candidate who was married with children. It took months for both Neojiisu and Garin's own men to convince him to go. They knew joining the Infiltrator Corps was his dream and the only reason he didn't want to go was because of them. Then one day, he reluctantly folded up his captain's uniform and left the capital for the secret desert training facility, birthplace of the infiltrators. He was automattically promoted to the rank of colonel and given the field rank of "lead specialist."

It didn't take Garin long to grow attached to his new team. Neojiisu made it clear that if they were going to take on the nation's most dangerous missions and succeed, they needed to be brothers. But before long, Garin's maturity, leadership, and patience earned him the unofficial role of "Papa." Neojiisu immediately paired him up with Indigo-- the youngest team member-- as his spotter. Garin saw action at Mangels and was one of those who fought along-side Indigo at Siggeir Du Nord. When Neojiisu became king, and Indigo was promoted to Team Leader, Garin became his second in command. During this time, he took part in a number of small but important missions, including Indigo's personal Mission of Vengeance to avenge General Dieter.

After Indigo's death and Neojiisu's disappearance, Garin was the successor of the title "Team Leader." He mourned the loss of his two best friends more than any of the others, and he solemnly accepted his new role and resposibility. In this time of uncertainty, this would be when a father's love was needed the most.

Class II Abilities:

Observer Training - He has received special psychic training in the Observer School. He can detect and discern his target's energy anywhere within 20km, regardless of what type or frequency their energy operates on. While he cannot determine a target's true power potential without equipment, he can always tell where his opponent is. The training is so advanced that the psychics who graduate can even "see" on different wavelengths: including ultrasonic, infrared, and chi potential.

Psi Blade - He makes a fist and focuses his energy into his hand. A purple energy blade 14" long shoots out of his knuckles. It operates on a wavelength similar to psionic energy and cannot be blocked by Class I ki shields.

Seekers - He holds his hand straight out with his fingers together. Then focuses his energy into his hand, which glows white. When he splits his fingers apart, four finger darts (or ki bullets for added power) form between them. Then he swipes his hand horizontally, sending the darts scattering in a wide array. Through his psychic abilities, he can "see" through them, giving him a degree of omniscience. While they auto-home on their target, at any time, he can also exert manual control over the Seekers to guide them. During stalking missions, these seekers perform the most dangerous reconaissance missions-- if captured, they don't talk, they explode.

Bullets - These are highly concentrated bullet shaped ki blasts. While they range in caliber, the typical bullet is a small cylindrical ki beam roughly 3 inches long and 1/4 inch in diameter. They have high piercing ability, and basic energy shields cannot block them. If fired from the hands, Garin can only charge one every 2 seconds (for 30 shots a minute). However, a Juin rifle on rapid fire mode fire 1000 shots per minute. Using the rifle also gives the blast a velocity close to the speed of light, exponentially increasing its speed and lethality compared to a hand-shot bullet.

Infiltrator Endurance - Juin Infiltrators are trained to fight in any condition imaginable. Garin's survival skills and personal conditioning are so great that his body can withstand conditions ranging from being frozen in thick ice to swimming through lava. It includes rigorous gravity/zero-gravity training and low oxygen conditions. He is an ultimate survivor.

Disruption Wave - Either from the hand or from the rifle, Garin shoots clear ripples of energy through the air. These ripples are transverse waves of energy moving at a frequency that causes destructive interference. It is used to briefly throw ki fields out of flux. While it doesn't cause any direct damage, it can cause people to stall while flying or lose control of their energy. It is also useful for dispersing ki balls and other ki attacks. The disruption wave's prowess as an effective stun tool has given it a reputation as one of the most annoying attacks there is.

Flashbang - A small white ball that explodes with a loud boom and a blinding flash designed to disorient and confuse opponents.

Stealth - Makes him invisible and drops his power level to a level only dectectable by a scouter (just in case his armor breaks). He can't perform ki attacks during this time otherwise he'll be detectable.

Starburst Rockets - A golden arrow that explodes like fireworks within five feet of its intended target, exploding into five smaller rockets, that spread in a spherical array before exploding themselves into golden blasts 5 feet in diameter. This is useful for catching nimble targets good at dodging bullets. While they cannot home, the added ease of creating these rockets allows him to fire more with less energy.

Advanced Telekinesis - He can lift and move up to 500lbs with his mind by creating a spherical psychic field with a 12ft radius (1810 cu. ft.) around his body. The square footage of this field can be manipulated into any shape within its constraints (IE: psychic beams, ropes, and shields).

Archon Turbo - A power-up in which he channels ki so quickly, it temporarily transforms him into a being of pure energy, known as an archon. While this mode burns energy exponentially faster than normal, the fighter is ultimately strong, extremely swift, and the energy he radiates burns almost anyone who touches him. Archons have no bones-- the energy is wrapped around his 'human' soul, which gives him a humanoid appearance. If wounded, it bleeds out pure energy in a white fire, which can cause severe burns to those nearby. When he seals the wounds, it leaves glowing white scars.

Class III Abilities:

Librarian - His mind is protected by a being known as the "The Librarian," who is the personification of his soul in his mind. The Librarian looks like a cleric knight dressed in heavy plate mail covered in black robes. He wields the mighty two-handed "Filibuster Sword" and can also use any of Garin's Class II techniques. Any mental messages sent to Garin's mind, or any attempt to read his mind is personified in the form of an unarmed messenger. The opponent cannot read his thoughts unless the Librarian says it's ok. Any mental attacks who try to enter are automatically personified as a generic knight with no armor and a short sword (unless specifically personified otherwise in an attack's description), and they must enter through the gateway the Librarian guards to access his mind. When Garin fires a psychic beam at his opponent, the Librarian can also upload itself into their mind to wreak havoc on their brains.
