Today we have a special update! After long time overdue, we have three new Hall of Fame inductees! Please go visit our Hall of Fame pages to pay respects to the older members as well as the new inductees: Hope, Neojiisu, and Shuno.

I've done a bit of this-and-that around the site today, nothing too major. I fixed the problem of the weird symbols on member profiles, for example. You should also take notice that we have a new affiliate: Forever Legends! They are excellent, and I highly suggest you take some time to check them out.

Finals are OVER!! And we survived; I hope you did too!
There is also a slue of updates today! Hooray! We'll start this rather long newsclip (keep scrolling down... you might miss something important!) with updated profiles. Ready? Jakole, Gareeku, Hakuto, Carniku, Alykoth, Bryce, and Mai. I think the somewhat large number of profile updates has something to do with the fact that the Battle for Volgondia credits were finally handed out! (Those have also been added to the profiles of everybody who participated in the saga--see the OOC board for a complete list.) Gokan's new character, Kasumi, has also been added to the Members page.
In the way of sagas, we have a new upcoming saga: Nethlak's Search. Check it out and look forward to it, eh. Also, we have another saga that has been archived! Brought to you by Jakole, the Tournament 2004 has been summarized for your viewing and enjoyment purposes. Check it out on the Archives page!
Speaking of tournaments... Signups and further information are now available for Tournament 2005 on the OOC board, for those of you who don't already know. The Tournament is predicted to start in the beginning of January, 2006. If you're already an FH member, sign up now!! If you're not a member yet, fill out the join form, send it in, then sign up for the Tournament 2005!
A note about profiles: Some of you might notice weird symbols on your profiles on the Members page. Don't worry about it, they will be fixed/removed shortly.

No updates today: it's final exams week for at least 2/3 of us admins (Musashi and I; maybe Alykoth too, I'm not sure)! But it'll be over soon enough, stress and all. Hoorah. But I've noticed that my pending update folder is getting increasingly more full these days, so expect some updates once my finals are all done and I've celebrated the end of the semester. Good luck to any else of you guys who have big exams coming up! (11 days until Christmas and Hanukkah!)

Important: If you are a returning member of FH who has been gone for a while and you find that your username on the board is gone, just re-register. We have deleted many members who have not logged in or posted for over six (6) months. Character profiles for these people have been taken off of the Members section but have not been permanently deleted yet.
Typhus' profile has been added to the Members section. On the board, several new subboards have been added recently: Bryce's Island, SkizZ's Island, Roosland (why does everybody want their own island??), and Musashi's Dojo. Relevant hreads have mostly been moved, but if you find one that we've missed please let me, Gareeku, or Jakole know, and it'll be moved.

I've put Mirakel's and Ginseng's profiles up on the Members page. That's pretty much it in the way of updates this week. The Battle for Volgondia Saga has more or less come to a close. Thanks to everyone who stuck it out until the end! Now everybody can run free for a while and create their own storylines, collaborate with other members, whatever. Be creative; have fun!

Happy Thanksgiving to Canada! (Tomorrow, that is.) Please also take a moment to pay respects to the Hurricane Katrina victims as well as the Pakistani earthquake victims. Make a humanitarian donation, even. They need all the support they can get.
In RPG news... We have a new affiliate! Check out StarFox: Squardrons, run by Forced Heroes' very own Jakole!! Hooray and huzzah. There have also been some minor updates to the Saga page. Speaking of sagas, Battle for Volgondia is finally wrapping up. Once it is finished, there will be a period of free role-play so our members can work with their own stories for their characters and have a break from sagas--we've had one after the other for pretty much a full year or so. Please also keep in mind the current contest hosted by Alykoth: come up with great ideas to make Forced Heroes more awesome!

The updates continue! Zechariah's profile has been fixed (again), as has Karius' profile. Our new member Gale has been put up on the member's page.
Last but not at all least... Forced Heroes' very own Hall of Fame is FINALLY up and running for all to see. Go check it out; it's everything you've ever dreamed of and more. Thanks again to Shino and Tunks for re-designing it!

I've started updating again, but the process will be slightly on the slow side, as I really need to adjust to college life asap. But I am going to make a conscious effort to step it up a notch. I've made a couple of updates tonight (added SkizZ's Island to the map, fixed Zechariah's proifle), and will do more throughout the week. It will get done!!

School's out for me! Hooray and huzzah; finally!! To celebrate, (ok, just because I love FH) I've added three new members to the Members Section (Aya, Kor, and Rice Orochi) and updated a few other profiles!! Now, don't y'all just feel so special? Teehee. I also know that several FH members are graduating soon from their various places, so a super-congrats to them! Rock, rock on.

YaY, AP tests are done and over with! Now I just have about two more tests and two more projects for school to finish up before I graduate. Once all that stress and busy-ness is out of the way I should be able to get back into FH things full swing. In FH news: Proboards has finally updated our forum. We're still getting used to all the new features and trying to fix some of the unwanted quirks, so hopefully all that will be sorted out soon as well.

There have been quite a few updates the past few days, even with the credit mishap. Tonight, Ceres and I worked together to do little touch-ups all over the site. I dealt mostly with the Special Characters' page. Shin Robert's profile is up and viewable via the Special Characters page under the Members' section. The special character Fajita's profile was added and Captain Generica's picture was attached to the Cap's profile. Karius's and Gage's profiles are now also viewable from the Special Characters' page as well as the normal list because they are the Planet's Guardian and the Juin King, respectively.

I fixed the Members page! Well, actually, all I did was use the same "frame within an iframe" style that I used on last year's layout and that is currently on the Legends of Dragonia layout. Since it was working on LoD, I was hoping that it would still work here, and lo and behold, it did! And so, while it means we now need three html files instead of just one to make the Members' page work, I'm happily willing to sacrifice a slightly messier file list for something that functions.

Neo, here. Valentines Day is tomorrow and unfortunately it looks like I'll be solo this year-- no lady friends in sight. I love Valentines Day and love love itself, so Happy V-Day to all you love-birds all there, but as for me... I dunno, I'll find something to do :-p. In other bad news, I don't have much love for Geocities right now. I suspect that the new way they're displaying their ads is the reason that the Members section is not working correctly. The good news-- tentatively-- is that Legends of Dragonia's Members section is working, giving me an idea on how to code a quick "crutch" to make the page viewable until I find a better, more permanent solution.

Tonight, I uploaded the updated Juin History page! Now, besides the basic information about common traits of their race, is expanded info about their early history, the relocation campaign that forced them on their island continent, and the legend of Shin Robert. I think it makes good reading, and if you have a little time, I deeply suggest you check it out.

The pages for the Juin Soldier and the Juin Royal Guard have been updated and a new profile-- for Juin Combat Medics-- has been added! Check it out in the new and improved Juin section. To put in the drop down menu, I used an interesting method: instead of having the menu on the outside, and the content in an iframe (like things are on the Members page and on this main page) the menu is in the iframe! This way, I have a drop-down menu on each page, and the scrollbar looks continuous, but each time I add a new file, I still only have to edit one menu file, which is convenient. It just goes to show my brain can still think past midnight (ok, so this update actually occured in the opening hour of February 4), even after a long 8-hour work day and a brutal volleyball game-- I still got it! The profile for Noelle, the latest Juin character, has also been added to the Members' section. Anyways, time to sleep. More updates tomorrow!

Happy February! Updates to the Juin section continued tonight, but I ran into some technical difficulties, so some pages still might not be accessable, and some links might be broken on certain pages. I'll continue tomorrow evening when I'm not as tired and when I can think.

I know I'm supposed to have turned all work over to Ceres and the gang, but I figured I should make some last minute changes. It started last night after I put the link up to Garin's profile. I looked at the Juin section and realized that I forgot to list the links to the profiles for the stock Juin characters (soldiers, Royal Guard, Infiltrators, etc). I'll be updating those and re-adding them to the Juin section tonight. I also updated the Title Header for the Sagas page. It's an image now that matches the layout, and not just a table with a border. I also corrected a grammar mistake on the page: it said, "The Suggest a Saga." The word "The" should not have been there, although it did make it seem like it was an official saga. "Next time on Forced Heroes! The exciting conclusion to the "Suggest-A" saga!!" Saga is a funny word when you look at it that many times on a page. Try saying it outloud ten times fast, it sounds funny too! :-p. That's it from me for now, more updates to come!

Now that the tournament is over and the secret of Indigo's true identity has been revealed, Garin's true profile has been made viewable on the Members' page. Oh, and I would like to congratulate the nation of Iraq on a successful Election Day. I know it probably won't mark an end to the violence, but I hope that it will be a start to better days, a landmark towards peace, and a sign that our honorable soldiers are a step closer to an accomplished mission.

Congratulations to our World Champion Indigo and second & third places Gage and Musashi!! It was a good tournament with some great fights, so thanks to everyone who was involved!
