Force Of One Eastvan operates regularly seven days a week at night beginning at 12am and ending at around 4am in the morning. Force members travel an area of approximately (but not limited to) 20 blocks. Force members carry coffee,an emergency blanket and street survival supplies such as light first aid supplies (band-aids,alchohol swabs etc.) condoms,clean needles (rigs),prep kits and other items. Force Of One Eastvan is focused on assisting homeless street people and prostitutes who work late at night in unsafe conditions and in rough areas. Force Of One Eastvan has also initiated a new program to assist in the reunion of missing persons and runaway teen-agers in the downtown core of Vancouver. Our aim is to reduce the risk of harm and the spread of disease,to deliver a message of hope,to put a serious dent in the danger level for prostitutes in the areas wich we cover and to gain the trust of our clients so that when they are ready for transition to a healthier lifestyle they have an alternative support system and to see that runaway kids have a fighting chance at a posotive family lifestyle instead of a life on the street. Force members operate on an anonymous basis with our clients and keep strict confidence regarding identity to assure our clients of their right to privacy. Force Of One Eastvan Is not a religeous organization and is not affiliated with any particular church or denomination. Force members carry a message to these people that "there is so a way out and we'll show you if you want it".WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!
