| Chapter 8 �Yo Kat, me and Becky are goin over to the guyz room. Wanna come?� Jenna asked as soon as the girls got up to their hotel room. �No.� �We have the key to their pent house�� �I said no.� �Jenna let�s just go.� Becky said and they walked out of the room. �What�s her problem?� Jenna asked as they walked to the elevator. �Just drop it.� �No, she�s being a bitch. She�s ditching us left and right, and I don�t wanna put up with it.� �Erik broke up with her.� Becky said and then there was silence until they got to the penthouse floor, security let them through. �Ok wait so this takes up a whole floor? Can we use our key now?� Jenna said in one breath. �Yes Jenna, it takes up a whole floor and no, we should nock.� Becky said then knocked on the door. �Hey Jenna.� Dan opened the door let Becky in and rushed away with Jenna. �Ya hi Dan, nice talking to you too.� Becky smiled and shook her head. ~ Oh my G-d I can�t even hear myself think with this noise. Do they think this is music? Who are all these people? And where�s the rest of O-town? Ok enough of this, I�m bored� ahhhh! What the hell was that? �Hey Becky.� Ashley came from behind and put his arms around Becky. �You have to stop doing that!� Becky turned around and punched him. �ow! I can�t hear you� Becky screamed at the top of her lungs. �What?� Ashley yelled back. �Can we go outside?� Becky screamed. �I can�t here you, let�s go outside.� Ashley took Becky by the hand and went out to the balcony and shut the door behind them. �Ok that�s better. It�s so beautiful from up here.� Becky looked at the city beneath them. �You�re so beautiful.� Ashley leaned over and kissed her. ~ Ok wow that was cheesy! Eh, who cares? He�s a really good kisser. ~ �Eh hem.� Someone said as Ashley and Becky continued. �Eh hem� was said louder, they didn�t pay any attention. �Ok dude, get off my sister.� They immediately stopped �oh hi Kat. Didn�t see you there.� Becky sputtered. �Well obviously.� Kat said and looked down at where Becky�s hand was. Becky moved it. �Kat what are you doing here?� �I needed to tell you that when we get back to Orlando we�re finishing our cd.� �Um finish? We haven�t started yet.� �What do you call what we did 4 months ago?� �You mean their letting us keep our own songs?� �Ya once they saw how much the crowd liked our music they said they didn�t wanna change it.� ~ Ok great Kat, thanks for telling me, now leave!� �Kat, why are you telling me this now?� �I hate to break it to you, but we need to practice.� �Ok Kat, I�ll be there in a minute.� Becky said and Kat left quickly, then Becky turned to Ashley. �Sorry bout that.� Becky was about to kiss him, but he put his hand over her mouth. �Becky you have to go.� Becky moved his hand out of the way and kissed him quickly. �Five more minutes.� ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ �Rebecca where the hell were you?� Kat screamed when Becky walked in. �we�ve been waiting for an hour and a half!� �Geez I�m sorry Kat.� �Your sweatshirt is on inside out Becky.� Jenna said quietly. �No! I don�t want this sorry crap, I told you to be here and you weren�t. If this is how it�s always gonna be we�re never gonna succeed in this business.� �Look Kat, I�m really sorry, I-� Jenna cut off Becky. �Becky stop, you don�t have to explain anything to her. Kat get off of her back, she�s still a teenager, what do you expect from her? What were you doing at her age? She can only be grown up for so long before she needs to act her age. She�s been through enough crap and you don�t make it any easier, so for now just shut up! This is going to be hard enough without you being a bitch.� ~ Wohoo, you go Jenna! Oh G-d, Kat looks mad, I am never going to hear the end of this one. ~ � Fine, I�m sorry Becky.� ~ Am I ever gonna get a good apology from her? ~ Kat continued. �Jenna do you know what I was doing at her age? I started a band, adopted a kid, and got a real job to support her. Is that what you call acting your age?� All the girls were really pissed off by now. They practiced anyway, and even with the tension, they did well. They sang until early morning. They all collapsed in their own beds. That was a first in a while. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ I can�t sleep. I�m not tired! I don�t wanna go to sleep! Ok now I know I�m delusional, because that was the biggest lie I�ve told myself all day. So what is it? Why can�t I relax?~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ �Are you asleep?� Becky whispered into Ashley�s room. �No.� Ashley said and got up to see Becky. �You couldn�t sleep either?� Ashley led Becky into his dark bedroom where Ashley sprawled out over his bed and stared at the ceiling. �Nope. I really missed you. This is insane, we can�t keep doing this, what am I gonna do when we go back to Orlando?� Becky lied down and rested her head on Ashley�s stomach. � Come to my house every night?� �Ashley.� Becky gave him a look. � Why don�t we just take this one day at a time.� Ashley said while playing with Becky�s hair. �I think I can do that.� In a few minutes both were sound asleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Briiiiing �What the hell was that?� Becky said waking up a little bit. � I didn�t hear anything.� Ashley turned to Becky �just go back to sleep.� �No problem there.� Briiiiiiiiing �Ashley, your pants are ringing.� Becky said and rolled over. �Oh it�s a phone.� Ashley pointed out, though quite disoriented. �So pick it up.� �Good idea.� Ashley got up and got the phone out of the pocket of his pants that were currently flung over a chair. �Hello? Oh uh hi� ya I know� I know�. Ok I�ll be there in a minute.� Ashley raced around the room finally finding his shoes and putting them on. �Who was that?� Becky sat up in bed a little bit. �That would be Dan, we were suppose to be down there 5 minutes ago.� Ashley said as he threw on a shirt. �Oh crap!� Becky bolted out of bed and ran towards the door. � I think I should probably change.� �Good idea.� Ashley rushed out of the door with Becky. Becky looked down. �Um Ashley� pants?� �Ah ha, yet another good idea. I�ll see you in a couple minutes.� Ashley kissed Becky and ran back into the room hopping no one saw. |
