| Chapter 3 Two weeks later at the concert hall in Orlando The girls were listening yet again to another of Clive�s speeches. They had grown accustomed to his lectures and Becky only caught half of this one. �Girls I�m glad to see you in person again. Ok first take your luggage to your dressing room. Then you are going go to your sound check, and then when the guys get here they will be in two busses one for them and one for you. Take your stuff and put it on your bus, not that complicated. Then go to wardrobe. Got it girls?...Got it? Are you girls even listening to me?� �Uh huh ya, we�re listening, but when do we get to see O-town?� Jenna said eagerly. �Oh, they�ll be pretty busy I don�t think you�ll see them until after the show.� �Will they see us perform?� Becky asked nervously. �I don�t think so, they will be busy.� Clive said remorsefully, seeing how the girls were disappointed by this news. The afternoon went by quickly and soon, it was almost time to go on stage. �Hey Becky, why don�t you go see how many people are out there.� Kat said teasingly. "Oh my G-d, oh my G-d, oh my G-d�� Becky repeated nervously when she saw how many people there were. �You know this amphitheater thing looked a lot smaller this morning.� �Kat stop messing with her, this is no time for you guys to be stupid.� Jenna butted in. �Alright, alright, sorry Becky I know that we�ll do fine.� Kat tried to make Jenna happy. �10 minutes!� the voice of a stage manager yelled. �Oh my G-d, oh my G-d, oh my G-d!!! How am I gonna do this? You know what? I�m not going on I can�t do it I thought I could but I can�t. You guys go on without me.� �Amelia Rebecca Elizabeth Turner!� Kat grabbed Becky by the shoulders. �We have not worked for three years and given up on lots of things just for you to quit 10 minutes before our concert debut, do you hear me?� Kat said pretending to be angry. �Ya, and you have solo�s and the harmonies would be off without you.� Jenna said trying to boost Becky�s confidence. �Ok I guess I can try this whole concert dealy, but if I don�t like it I�m gonna stop.� Becky said. �Ok whatever Becky.� Jenna replied �Ya Bex whatever you say.� Kat chimed in. � 5 minutes, places!� the stage manager yelled again. �That wasn�t five minutes!� Becky protested. �Do you wanna bring that up right now?� Jenna said as she pulled Becky on to stage. Forbidden Love performed their 3 songs and then introduced O-town. �Now I know you guyz out there just loved us, didn�t you?� Kat said trying to hype every one up. �Ya I�m sure they did, but that�s not why they�re here is it?� Jenna said as the crowd screamed louder. �No I don�t think so. Are you ready to see the fine boyz of o-town?� Becky screamed. �I can�t hear you!� the crowd now cheering wildly. �Now give it up for� O-TOWN!!!!!� The girls were about to step off the stage when they saw o-town for the first time in two weeks, all three girls stopped dead in their tracks. ~ Get off the stage, get off the stage. Damn you feet! Why aren�t you working? Oh ya� because Ashley�s right there! Oh my G-d is he hot. I forgot how cute he was. Looking at his picture is just not the same. ~ �Now give it up for the ladies of Forbidden Love.� Dan yelled. And this time when the crowd cheered it was for them, they knew their sacrifices was worth it at that point. Also by this time the girls remembered how to walk and slowly stumbled off stage. �Oh my G-d OH MY G-d! That was so friken awesome! Thanx for dragging me on. I think I remember why I love you guyz so much!� Becky said without pausing. �Breath Rebecca, breath.� Kat said trying to conceal her excitement. The girls stood in silence as they watched o-town�s performance until the end. When it was over o-town went to meet and greet, and the girls went to their bus. The bus drove them to a nice hotel where the two groups would spend their last night in Orlando. �C�mon Kat you have to admit that was pretty tight out there.� Jenna said trying to make Kat admit she had a good time on stage. �Ok whatever I guess it was a little cool.� Kat replied. Then there was a nock at the door. �Forbidden Love, now that we are famous rock stars, we have a song for you before you enter�. � Jenna screamed through the door. �What?� Becky said to Kat in confusion. �Oh come on you know the song, it�s the one to the tune of row, row, row your boat.� Jenna said. There was another nock on the door. �Jennifer just let who ever it is in please.� Kat pleaded �Never!� Jenna answered and by now it was clear she had a major sugar buzz. Jenna walked to the door and began to sing, �fuck, fuck, fuck a duck screw a kangaroo, 69 a porcupine go to the zoo.� Jenna finished her song. �Ok Katherine, I will let them in now.� Kat opened the door. �Wow I wanna go to that zoo.� Dan said sarcastically �Oh Dan hi.� Jenna turned and mouthed to the other girls �oh shit!� �I didn�t know where the soda machine was, so I was wondering if you could show me.� Dan said. �Ya sure.� Then turned to Becky and Jenna and said, �I�ll be right back.� As soon as the two had left Becky turned to Jenna and said, �She�s not coming back is she?� �Nnno.� �Just checkin� Then the phone rang. �Hello?� Kat answered. �Oh hi Erik, ya sure I�ll be there soon.� �Who was that?� Becky asked. �Erik.� �So you�re basically gonna ditch me?� �Would you be really mad?� �No, Jenna already went out, go have fun. Well not Jenna�s kind of fun, but ok, whatever, go.� �Thanx Bex, luv you sis.� Kat hugged Becky, grabbed her jacket and ran out of the room. ~ Once again it�s the Cinderella deally. You know one day I think I might turn into a pumpkin. This never happened before my parents died. I use to be popular everyone wanted to be around me, all the guys just wanted me. Why did I have to ask for that stupid jeep? It�s all my fault. ~ Becky decided to turn on the TV to muffle the sound of her crying and started to drift off to sleep when she heard a nock at the door. ~ What who could that be? ~ Becky opened the door. �Oh, hi Becky.� Ashley said as he leaned on the doorpost. �Can I come� wow are you ok?� �Ya I�m fine.� �You don�t look fine, you look like you�ve been crying.� �I�m ok really, do you wanna come in?� Becky let Ashley and wiped away a tear. �Are you sure you�re ok?� �Ya I�m sure, and thanx.� The two walked over to Becky�s bed. �Thanx for what?� Ashley asked in confusion �Just thanx for asking� Ashley, why are you here?� �Well I was looking for Erik and Dan, you haven�t seen them have you?� Becky didn�t even notice the time, she looked at the radio next her, 2:08 am. ~ Damn, I guess Kat does keep to her second date rule. ~ �I think I hear someone coming, it�s probably at least one of them.� Becky said half asleep. �Ok thanx, but if ever need anything, anything, just come to me.� ~ I wonder what he meant by, �anything�? ~ Ashley left in a hurry, almost like he felt guilty being in her hotel room and that he wanted to stay. Just then Kat walked in. ~ Wow this girl�s got crappy timing! ~ �Yet again I just miss you with a man. But my lil sis is working up. Before, a phone call, now a man alone with you in a hotel room. This is proof that I�m contagious.� Kat laughed. �Ha, ha, ha. Very funny�. Um Kat� Where�s Jenna?� |
