3pm Sunday, November 9, 2003: International Prayer Day Interfaith Service on the second floor of Alaska Pacific University's Atwood Hall by the Totem. Please join us in helping to prevent religious conflict and spreading world peace.   Feel free to bring or write a prayer or come and join in the prayers of others. Refreshments will follow service. Cosponsored by Campus Ministry (currently APU), Study Peace (UAA), APU, and the Anchorage Community. Thank you to APU and Greg Kimura.

Students for a Free Tibet will host Paldon Gyatso at the UAA Campus Den (bottom floor) 7pm November 10. he will speak about Human Rights issues in China and Tibet.

International Day of Prayer, November 9, 2003, is the day after the National Day of Prayer which was first established in the US in 2001.   International Day of Prayer was promoted in 1996 by the World Evangelical Alliance to support persecuted worshipers.
