     No one knows for certain who or what the dark shapes known as the Accursed Ones are, or to what purpose they go forth.  But they are feared, and few survive to describe their encounter.
       Accursed Ones are humaniods, light of build, swathed in black wrappings and garments and often wearing great black boots and dark helms.  Their faces are never seen, though at times in battle, their eyes can be seen shining yellow like a cat's.
       It is rare that anyone encounters these beings without being attacked.  Accursed Ones always react to characters at a -2, and will never be friendly.  If they do parley, it is usually in the Common tounge, though they converse among each other in a strange dialect of their own. 
       Accursed Ones fight fiercely, often with a silvery sword in each hand and with such vitality that they recieve a +1 to inititive and a +1 to strike their targets.  They also wield spells, and do so as an elf of the same hit dice.
       If an Accursed One is rendered to 0 hits in a combat round, it's entire body will immediately burn away to ash, along with any non-metallic possesions it might be carrying.  If the final blow was struck with a weapon, the weilder must make a Save vs. Spells or have the weapon shatter to bits.  It a magic weapon deals the blow, it loses a +1. Weapons that lose their plusses become normal weaponry.
     
Nightshade Demon

Morale: 9
Treasure Type: L
Alignment: Chaotic
    Nightshade Demons are evil, wiry humanoids  with inky, oiled hides and vicious fangs.  They inhabit lonely sites such as ruins and other desolate lands.
     These vile creatures were summoned long ago by the Green King and those that remain in the lands are spawn of those creatures.  Being they are alien to this plane, Nightshade Demons are hit only by enchanted weapons and spells.  They also have the despicable ability to teleport to any location within 90 feet at will.  Their lairs are often in areas that can only be reached by teleporting.
