Upon entering, the trail will be blocked by ice, so Rosa encourages Rydia to try and use a Fire Spell. After she does, she learns Fire1 permanently. Take the first door you see to find a Save point and four chests. The first has a Tent, the second has a Potion, and the third has a Soft and the fourth 960 Gil. Return to the door and head right through the next door. Pick up the 10 Holy Arrows from the chest and equip them. Heal before going up the next set of stairs. You will meet Yang, a martial artist. You will witness a battle in which Yang kills three Imp Captains with ease. He will then join you for a Boss battle against Mom Bomb.
Mom Bomb:
It starts off as an ordinary bomb, but after a few hits it will transform. Attack with Yang and Cecil, Summon Chocobo or Cast Ice1 with Rydia; heal with Edward and attack or Heal with Rosa. When it does transform, keep the same tactics. It will use Explode on your party and the Mom Bomb will divide into three grey bombs and three normal Bombs. Use Yang�s Kick technique and have Rydia use Chocobo again. They are not strong, and will perish easily.
After winning, you will be properly introduced to Yang. You tell him that Fabul�s Crystal is in danger, so you must hurry and protect it. Yang will join you now. There are no treasures on this side of the mountain, so leave A.S.A.P. Follow the forest and go east where it ends. Head south after going through the small gap between the mountains and you should see Fabul. Enter.
