Inside the Rankings

Another interesting weekend of college football saw positions 3 thru 6 get juggled around, with Miami and Ohio State holding strong at numbers 1 and 2, respectively.

USC leapfrogged Georgia for the #3 slot with a win over Notre Dame (#6 this week).  Georgia (#4), whose lone loss this season came against #22 Florida, failed to move up after routing Georgia Tech 51-7.  Last week’s #3 team, Oklahoma, got bested by rival Oklahoma State 38-28.  OSU moves up ten spots to #52.
