Profile

In the summer of 1996 a 16-year-old Eustace was a victim of the closure of Birmingham's Youth Academy. Birmingham's loss was Coventry's gain however, as the Sky Blues picked up the youngster shortly following his exit from St. Andrews.

The Solihull born player was sent to Dundee on loan in February '99 before returning to Highfield Road for the 1999/00 season. Waited patiently before finally receiving his Premiership debut in January 2000.

Gradually established himself in the centre of midfield as a whole-hearted, tough tackling player, but also likes to get forward and grab the odd goal.

His combative style of play earned him the respect of players and supporters alike, which led to former boss Gordon Strachan handing the 22-year-old the captain's armband whilst he was still in charge at Highfield Road.
