Democracy first started from Judaism and the 10 commandments. Over time Athens and Rome had a democracy, yet they didn�t know it, that in some ways helped democracy evolve into what it is today. The way democracy was bad and didn�t help them at all it only brought doom to them. Democracy hasn�t really changed because all they really did was add some rules and laws, but most of government was already there. The only thing that was needed to do was to make some miner touches. The Magna Carda was made by the people. This put restraints on King John and this is how democracy really started. Then soon after the Magna Carda there was the Bill of rights in 1689. All of these thing are still apart of the government or democracy that we use to this day. The 10 commandments helped lead to the Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights. All of that help give us the nice place that we live today.
