5 Causes of WWI
1.  Schlieffen plan:  to speed attack which France was trying to aviod.

2.  Economic rivalry or imperialism.

3.  Militarism: to see who had the most powerful weapons and who was had the best military.

4.  Nationalism:  it gave power to the nation's people.  Germany and France had a strong nationalism.

5.  Tangled Alliances:  an alliance that would have a country to back them up if they would go into war.
