My name is Bao Thanh NGUYEN.  I come from Vietnam.  I have been in Australia for sixteen years.  I am married and I have two daughters.  Now I am a student at AMES Footscray.  I live in Melbourne.

Melbourne is an important Australian city.  It is in the south east of Australia and it is the capital city of state of Victoria.  The best things I really like about Melbourne are the gardens and parks surrounding the city.  The people are very friendly.  However, I think the worst thing about Melbourne is the weather.  We often say there are four seasons in a day.

The things make me happy and important to me are my family, my health and I wish I would be wise and wealthy, so I would have an opportunity to go around the world to help the children who are very poor.  Especially those living in developing countries.  I strongly believe in equality for all people.

The people I most admire are my parents.  They worked hard all their life to raise a big family which with a dozen children.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening, walking and out going with friends.

Melbourne has many places to visit.  There are beaches for swimming, historic buildings, sports stadiums like the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), parks and gardens, the Arts centre, Federation Square and various museums.
