馮氏由姓姬改為姓畢再改為姓馮如下.

Zhou Wen Wong was named Qi Chang. He was the father of  Zhou Wu Wong, (Qi Fa), the first king  of Zhou Dynasty (1122BC –225)

公高是周文王的十五子, 周武王封他於畢國名為畢公高.由姓姬改為姓畢.

Gong Gao was the 15th son of Zhou Wu Wong. He was knighted by Zhou Wu Wong in Bi country and was known as Bi Gong Gao. The surname was changed from Qi to Bi.

畢公高的後裔, 畢萬為晉獻公 (BC661-BC656) 的陪乘者. 協助獻公討伐霍, 魏, 耿, 結果一戰而滅三國.凱旋後, 獻公把魏封給畢萬, 食邑馮城, 故改姓馮 .

One of Bi Gong Gao’s descendants  was a general. He helped Jin Xian Gong (BC661 -BC656) to conquer  Huo, Wei and  Geng . After the victory, he was knighted by Xian Gong as the Marquis of Wei and was granted a place known as Feng Cheng. Later, his descendents adopted Feng as their surname.
