But no I'm not The Truth I haven't been in the league long enough to know the information this guy knows, the back stories and what have you. Frankly he freaks me out that he knows so much about my team Goalpost10: Do you have any knowledge of who THE TRUTH may be? Goalpost10: Any speculation? Matty A 9186: Honestly I will admit he has mailed me an arcticle under an assumed name, a name I've never seen before a FredFlinstone982 and demanded I post for him to make it look like I was The Truth. I don't wanna fuck with the guy so I posted it. I don't believe he's black, he's way too intelligent to be a black man. If I were to sum it up I myself am thinking either John Pierira or quite possibly in a swerve of all swerves Adam Trukas. Goalpost10: Do you think John Perreira has Cankles? Matty A 9186: Well I'm glad he admitted it as at first he didn't seem like the type of person that would. He had no idea though he was assuming much like everyone else we were fat shelf stalkers that wanted a reason to get out of Foodmaster on a Sunday. But once again he admits it so thats okay in my book Goalpost10: Well, Damage Inc is on to an incredible start, especially for a rookie team. I knew from day one that you guys would excell. I think you guys will win around 8 games this year! And to think Matt said you would win no more than 4. What a damn fool! Matty A 9186: Steve you said we wouldn't win more than three Goalpost10: Anyways.... Goalpost10: moving on to the next subject Matty A 9186: Yes.. Goalpost10: What do you feel about going 3-15 thus far in your rookie season? Matty A 9186: It's really frustrating for me right now that I can't help out my team the way I would want to. I play in another league where I bat just fine which batting has always been my strong point. So it pisses me off a little I'm batting 200 while other people on my team do alot fo help the team win and I've for the most part done nothing. I'm still pretty shaky in the field as I made one error this past sunday at second so to say things aren't going well at least in the FSL would be a true statement Goalpost10: How do you plan on turning things around? Saying your prayers? Perhaps Taking Your Vitamins? Or maybe even believing in the big guy himself? Matty A 9186: LoL..Well I'll be trying some new things at the plate this weekend. I normally don't like changing the way I bat but seeing as I line out to the shortfielder I think a few things will have to change Goalpost10: Let me hit you hard again Matt. Matty A 9186: Well I met you through Adam and Adam is a good friend of mine from Foodmaster and you seemed a little odd but good natured. Then when you said what you said about the team I did go through a period of hating you but I got over it since we're having a good season right now. My team for the most part hates your guts though and understandably so. But at least they take it out on the field Goalpost10: Hate my guts? Is this just conpetitive hatred? Or should I sleep with one eye open? Matty A 9186: Competitive Hatred......I think Goalpost10: Well, I for one... must say that I feel... Goalpost10: TRULY HONORED! Matty A 9186: I figured you would have Goalpost10: Your thoughts on Team Lynn and your defeat against them last Sunday? Matty A 9186: Lynn was an excellent team to play. That was the second straight game we made a come back against and every inning one of the teams would score. If anything that win helped us really establish ourselves in the FSL and I can't wait to play them again it was just a great game all around Goalpost10: Very entertaining I must say. I caught the last few innings and I havent seen a game that well played in a while by both teams Goalpost10: How do you feel towards the commissioner of the FSL, Brian Langston? How is he doing running the league in your rookie eyes? Matty A 9186: Brian does a good job with what he has to do. He seems a bit ill tempered but then again so am I. I like Brian for the most part though he'll always aproach me about stuff so he's a ok in my book Goalpost10: I will keep this a re-occuring question in this segment of the FSL Webpage. Matt, what are your thoughts on negros in the FSL? Matty A 9186: Not needed....I'm having a hard enough time as it is trying to get to a good level of play I don't need a goddamn mooleyan taking my spot on the team..And I know my teammates and friends on the team are avid racists Goalpost10: that's tremendous! Last thing and I'm off to bed and for another extremely boring day at work. But now that you've seen us play in five games, what are your true feelings of Damage Incs talents and will they be playing Salem 2 or any team for that matter in October Goalpost10: Regarding Damage Inc, all I can think is that they have started to earn respect around the league. More importantly I guess, they are starting to earn some of MY respect. Everyone has their own opinions, and I can only speak for myself. I think Damage Inc is the best thing to happen to this league in a long time. Its great to see a team like you guys that come down to the field, pumped up ready to play hard. I think you have great fielders more so than your hitters. That's a compliment to your fielding, not a discredit to your hitting. Your infield is one of the better assemblies of infield talent I have ever seen in this league. Goalpost10: Diving for balls, hustling, communicating. When I look out there, its almost like I see myself in action Goalpost10: I have been playing for 8 years now Goalpost10: I have been a shortstop every year Goalpost10: and its not as easy as people think Goalpost10: Even on those slow grounders, that ball is big to be scooping up, especially in the grass infield. Goalpost10: And from the greatest player ever, EVER! In the history of the softball / baseball world, I would have to say that... well... Ted Williams would agree that Damage Inc is doing well. And I wish you the best of luck come october. To answer your question, I will predict you will face Lynn in the playoffs, as Salem 2 faces The Big Sticks. Goalpost10: Question for you in closing... what do you feel about Salem 2's softball squad? Matty A 9186: Well thanks for the compliments steve and honestly...You guys are on and off. You've dismantled The Big Sticks and Lynn once each. You've struggled against Revere and your team and my team played a close one in Week 2. I think alot of it has to do with some of your guys still hold those two carnival games at the beginning of the season heavy in their hearts, I was talking to Adam last week and I saw a burning hate in his eyes when we talked about that Revere game... Matty A 9186: I think once all is said and done you guys will probably make the playoffs once you get past those first two games. Personally I'd like to see us vs Lynn and Salem 2 vs Revere only because of my incredible respect towards Joe Quinn and my Unnatural hatred for Steve O Rourke Goalpost10: Steve O'Rourke is prehistoric Goalpost10: Do you feel that you would be able to get money selling his fossil bones to a museum? Matty A 9186: Probably enough to make me set for life and to buy the FSL and breed my own type of super softball player.
