| Goalpost10: Hello once again everyone, and welcome to the FSL Webpage's Conversation with Danny Langley, Manager of Team Lynn. How are you today Danny? Jizboy1: pretty good, a little tired as usual Jizboy1: how are you? Goalpost10: Im doing well, thanks for asking Goalpost10: Lets begin... Goalpost10: First of all, I think everybody is wondering what is going on with Lynn. Once a highly competitive team, now looking much like a mear shadow of its former self. What are you thoughts? Jizboy1: to start off our defense has been terrible, but it was better last week. We have been hitting but it has been inconsistent. I think that we still have alot more softball to play and we are not ready to give up. If we win one then maybe that can start the momentum. Jizboy1: We also had a very inconsistent schedule in the beginning Jizboy1: that didn't help Jizboy1: I think that we will be able to make things interesting Goalpost10: Yes, with all the rain out's, it was probably affecting your team Goalpost10: I honestly believe that things are so close this year in the race for the playoffs, that anybody can take this league Jizboy1: definitely. Play one week, off two, off one play one Goalpost10: Including Lynn... do your guys believe that they still have a shot at the playoffs this season? Jizboy1: All we have to do is shift the momentum to our side Jizboy1: I remember that for the last 2 years prior that revere had started out bad, just to rebound and make the playoffs Goalpost10: Now they are in first place Goalpost10: Where do you think Lynn's strengths on the field are? Jizboy1: yeah, Bowser has done a good job Jizboy1: wherever we put Scott is a plus, Jake is solid in left, Kevin is solid at 1st, Jeff is solid where he plays in the field Jizboy1: our infield has been killing us Jizboy1: I killed us one game to Jizboy1: I got whiplash last time against you guys Goalpost10: ah yes, I probably contributed to that personally a couple of times Goalpost10: You just had a bad game, we know better than that Goalpost10: everyone is allowed a bad one every now and then Jizboy1: I don't know what happened that day, I was embarrased Goalpost10: What do you think of newcomers, Damage Inc? Jizboy1: They have been slumping a little bit lately, but they have been better than I thought. You know how first timers usualy do in the league Jizboy1: They are pretty good all around Jizboy1: your team has been playing well as of late Goalpost10: Do you see Damage Inc returning next year to the league? I hear about some troubles on their squad. Team chemistry maybe at a low right now Goalpost10: Thank you, we are on a hot streak Jizboy1: really? they look like they were all friends. But if you lose a couple then people can turn on each other. It happened to us at the end of our tough loss on Sunday. Jizboy1: I think they will return next year. Jizboy1: maybe some of us can capitalize on their chemistry Jizboy1: or lack of Goalpost10: Danny... people around the league are buzzing about this on the Forum. Are you, or do you know who is, THE TRUTH??? Jizboy1: I am definitely not the truth. I have my theories. Some people get way too upset over what the truth says. People take things WAY to seriously Jizboy1: don't you agree? Goalpost10: you dont have any afilliation with the truth at all? Goalpost10: I definately agree Jizboy1: not that I know of. could be related to me, could not. I don't know who the truth is Goalpost10: One person in particular. People like saying things to draw some heat. And when people react in a way that proves that those words are indeed having an impact on certain people, that's exactly what THE TRUTH is looking for Jizboy1: It's all in fun Goalpost10: Everyone knows that your girlfriend Jen, who was probably not even on anyone's list of suspects last year as being the infamous "CHIBBA"... ended up being her. Is she a possibility? Jizboy1: no, she does not really have access to a computer anymore. She is not in school and there was some work going on in her house, so there was no computer Goalpost10: Danny, why are you wasting Jeff Cater in the outfield when its almost a known fact that Jeff has proven himself more valuable in the infield? Is this Jeff's decision to play the outfield? Jizboy1: no, there are not people who are good enough to handle the outfield, if I had a person who could handle it, then I would definitely do it Jizboy1: I need a couple of younger guys who can get on that proverbial "horse" Jizboy1: in fact he was gonna go to the infield on Sunday but we had an injury to Jake Goalpost10: what happened to jake Jizboy1: he hurt his back at work last week. He missed Sunday's game and will miss this week too. He should be back the following week Goalpost10: What is your take on the infamous "Kevin Situation". And for those of our readers that dont know, please describe the situation. Jizboy1: we were making a comeback last week against Revere and Kevin came home when he prob should not of because there was no third base coach to stop him. Jeff was a little upset at Kevin and yelled and Kevin yelled back. People were passing blame. The people that are to blame though is the whole team. Too many people were watching Richie the ump call ball and strikes than watching us comeback and trying to help the team. Jizboy1: things got a little out of hand with a few of us, but we will talk things through and be stronger for it Jizboy1: that pretty much describes it Jizboy1: when you lose a tough game like that, things just get totally magnified. I think that you have experienced something like this over the years? Goalpost10: Well definately Goalpost10: tempers start to flare, and ego's get the best of you Goalpost10: I admit this myself. And I am a better person this year and for the future for realizing this. Jizboy1: I was upset about the whole thing earlier in the week, but I have looked at the whole picture and see it differently now Goalpost10: But you gotta get together with your team, and just explain that these things happen for a reason, and you can only get stronger from it Jizboy1: already in the works Goalpost10: no sense in blaming eachother cause that doesnt get you anywhere, and certainly doesnt get you into the playoffs Jizboy1: Exactly. We win as a team and we lose as a team Goalpost10: That's the way I see it as well Goalpost10: Dan, to get on to a more serious subject Jizboy1: go ahead Goalpost10: What are your thoughts on having filthy, dirty, smelly, wide nosed breathing all the white man's air, big black NIGGERS in the FSL? Jizboy1: if I could find a couple I would put them on my team right now. God knows we could use them. Goalpost10: Would that be allowed by the commish? Jizboy1: I think that Matt was right, that if we let them in they would take over, and then what would we do on Sunday nite Goalpost10: us white boys would be out of a league Jizboy1: does anyone know the rules on that? Jizboy1: thats right Goalpost10: I think its in the rulebook somewhere Goalpost10: and as a matter of fact, we are not allowed to wear the number 42, not cause of respect for Jackie Robinson... but the opposite Jizboy1: I think I might call Cuba to steal a couple of filthy mexicans to help Goalpost10: cause he's a filthy coon Goalpost10: Filthy mexican I think is a double standard Goalpost10: its like... they are mexican, thus they are filthy Jizboy1: I did actually try to bring one down a couple of years ago Goalpost10: you cant have one without the other Jizboy1: good point Goalpost10: you tried bringing down a mexican? Goalpost10: Guadaloupe? Jizboy1: no negro Goalpost10: OH MY GOD!!! Goalpost10: JR'S ON FIRE AGAIN Jizboy1: he was gonna play but had family issues Jizboy1: MY GAWD!! Goalpost10: Have you read about the all-star game yet? Jizboy1: yeah, I think that it is a good idea, it might be a little difficult to throw it together so quick though Jizboy1: I think that next year we should schedule a week off and havbe the FSL all star game Goalpost10: If we have all the teams cooperate with their managers handing in their rosters, it would work out good Goalpost10: That would be a great idea Goalpost10: something to talk to the commish about Goalpost10: you dont think it would work having each team vote in their own all-stars, and then playing after the regular scheduled games for that week? Jizboy1: hopefully we will have this committee next year, that everyomne is talking about Jizboy1: it could, we could see Goalpost10: What is this committee you speak of? I havent heard about this Jizboy1: there have been grumblings about there being one rep from each team to have a say in the goings in the league. The FSL council. Try to take the pressure off of one person. Goalpost10: A council... that would be a great idea Goalpost10: have you talked with Langston about this? Goalpost10: how do you think he will respond to this idea? Jizboy1: we'll see. It wasn't my idea. I am just trying to help someone else's idea Goalpost10: I see Goalpost10: How do you feel about myself whipping your ass right now in the fantasy IGBY league? Goalpost10: AGAIN! Jizboy1: he would prob get upset, but we are trying to make things easier no him and everybody. If something bad happens, such as a shitty ump, then it is not one person's problem. it is the council's problem Jizboy1: you got my number, but who is still the best team? Jizboy1: who leads by like 500 points over everyone Goalpost10: well, when we are talking about Scuttlebuts vs. Those Sons A Bitches... you gotta give credit to Those Sons A Bitches Jizboy1: this week, but it has been a long season Goalpost10: People reading this have no clue what the hell we are talking about Jizboy1: I also can't wait for you to pick your football team Jizboy1: that is like two hours of comedy Goalpost10: Danny, before closing... is there anything else you would like to discuss? Goalpost10: WAIT A MINUTE! Goalpost10: Me picking my football team is comedy to you? Goalpost10: I finished in 4th place last year.. where were you? Goalpost10: I know matt was in first Jizboy1: in the finals when it was said and done Goalpost10: you may have been in there at 2 or 3, but I think you were 8th Jizboy1: I was in the finals and lost to Brian because I sat Pennington against the Pats on Sunday nite Goalpost10: Just because I have a secret love afair with Chris Fu'Amatu Motha Fucka, doesnt mean that my team stinks Goalpost10: you can never bet against the pats, that's just a standard rule Jizboy1: I am just saying that it is funny, you make thingd interesting Goalpost10: I cant find myself cheering for someone playing against them, wheather they are on my fantasy team or not Goalpost10: lol Goalpost10: thanks Goalpost10: I appreciate that Jizboy1: it is just like Kane tombstone Linda Goalpost10: Her head didnt come within 3 feet of hitting the ground Jizboy1: I know it was funny Goalpost10: they need new camera men Jizboy1: I wish JR had been there for that Goalpost10: or to have just changed the angle Goalpost10: yea Goalpost10: Coach sucks ass Jizboy1: MY GAWD MY GAWD - HELL FIRE AND BRIMSTONE Jizboy1: its KANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
