| Goalpost10: Hello everybody, I am here with an exclusive interview with John Pereira. How are you tonight John? JPPereira1: I'm doing just fine....relaxing and watching the game between the yankees and the Sox Goalpost10: Same here. A couple of questions that have been on everybody's mind John. First and foremost, what do you think of your new team, Revere? How does it differ from Lynn? JPPereira1: Steve, there isn't much difference from both teams. Revere has alot of great players and plays great team defense and I'm happy to be part of the team and contribute as much as this old men can do. Don't get me wrong, I think the Lynn team has a lot of good players also. we where so close last year!!!! just couldn't pull it off Goalpost10: Do you perfer managing your own team, or just worrying about yourself as a player? JPPereira1: I had the privalage of managing my one team and winning championships. At this time in my career I just wanna concentrate on being a player Goalpost10: What do you think, when I say the word, "Cankles"? JPPereira1: suppose to be own team, not one team JPPereira1: what the fuck is that!!!! JPPereira1: I don't think anything Goalpost10: Cankles is when you got like a big calf, that just runs down to your ankle. Its like the same all the way down your leg Goalpost10: Just a random question Goalpost10: Gotta have some humor ya know Goalpost10: Alright, on to a better question for ya John. JPPereira1: i hear ya!!! humor is good Goalpost10: Revere holds two victories over Salem 2. What is your opinion on accepting a victory after the infamous "Orange Mat" game? JPPereira1: That was the worst game in Foodmaster Softball. Orange mat sucked.....and it had both teams mess up. Unfortunately there had to be a winner and loser in that game. Goalpost10: Where do you see Revere at the end of the 2003 regular season in the standings? And into the playoffs? JPPereira1: We have a good team. I see revere going to the playoff's and hopesfully doing some damage and win the title for Scotty!!!! I like to see Revere and you guys in the Finals!!!!! Goalpost10: Thanks, that would be an honor. I know you werent there, but Revere vs. Salem 2 was the greatest softball game / series ever played in FSL history! Goalpost10: It would certainly be an honor to have you guys in the playoffs. Goalpost10: How about Lynn, where do you see them come playoff time? JPPereira1: Don't know...there in a little bit of trouble right now, but there a good team and I hope they can turn it around and make a playoff run. JPPereira1: Sox suck, don't you think Goalpost10: You cant say that about the Red Sox! Goalpost10: Red Sox do not suck... they have the best offense in baseball, how can you say such a thing? JPPereira1: They just play like shit against the Yankees. It's like they are afraid of them and don't wanna win Goalpost10: I think what they do is play just not to lose Goalpost10: The Yankees always play to win. The Sox play not to lose Goalpost10: its that simple Goalpost10: John, do you have any questions for me? JPPereira1: you right Mr. sica Goalpost10: I always like to have my conversations be a two way conversation, instead of just an interrigation. JPPereira1: How do you see the Season Ending? And what Teams will be in the playoff's and who do you think will be the 2 final teams to play to win the Femba title? Goalpost10: Well... that's a good question. Goalpost10: Right now I think it is a little early to tell. But instead of giving you the politicaly ok answer, I will tell you what I really feel. Goalpost10: Right now Lynn is looking like crap. I dont see them making the playoffs with their team. They have a few good players, and the rest are just old. Plain and simple. I honestly see Salem 2 or Revere taking the top seed. So I would guess the playoff matchups will be Salem 2 vs. Big Sticks, and Revere vs. Damage Inc. With Salem 2 and Revere in the finals. Goalpost10: Who wins that game? Who knows? Goalpost10: Do you know what the "Pereira Shift" is? JPPereira1: I think so!!!!!! Goalpost10: Can you describe what you know of the Pereira Shift? JPPereira1: you started the Pereira Shift didn't you!!!! JPPereira1: My description is, play Pereira up the middle!!!! Goalpost10: I have absolutely no comment on who started the Pereira Shift. ;-) JPPereira1: yeah, yeah, LOL Goalpost10: John, that is all the time we have for today.
