| Demon of LaPlace | |||||||||||||||||||
| Demon of LaPlace is one of the most horrifying (well maybe not that horrifying) games on the SNES console. It's a horror rpg that focuses on a creepy old evil mansion, and the town below it. LaPlace has some very interesting features, including a highly customizable party, and the ability to choose a character class for your character at the beginning, as well as his or her gender. The different classes are Detective, Journalist, Scientist, Medium, and Dilettante. I won't tell you the specifics, that way it isn't spoiled for you. Throughout the different parts of the game, be prepared to maybe mess yourself as you explore the deadly haunted mansion. The storyline for LaPlace is absolutely wonderful, and if you play long enough, it will absorb you. Be warned of one flaw, the tranlsation for this is somewhat detered but you should still be able to understand everything. All in all, LaPlace gets a 9/10. |
