Rhyme Royale

You take a hefty lump of lean ground beef
And set it in the pan till all is browned;
Chop onions, cel'ry, peppers, parsley leaf
And add tomatoes (makes a hissing sound);
Perhaps some mushrooms also could be found
And chili powder too and kidney beans.
Just simmer all while reading magazines.
