One of Londons finest returns with a sophomore full-length. Once again we have a healthy dose of attitude, punctuated by the crush of glass, and rust, vocals of Brian Hayter. This time around we heed the call to stand up for who we are, and where we're from(Stand strong) & (Son of mine). Then there is the less weighty, but no less important matter of just having a laugh(Week end) & (Our mates). A few tracks also incorporate a lone sax and female vocals. The additional voice of Liz Rose is hit and miss, as far as impact, and I've never been a fan of throwing a lone brass instrument into a guitar based song. This album is still very strong, and can stand on it's own. These guys also pull off a single ska track with gusto, and aplomb. It looks like the start of an institution. J.B.
