Naturalmente, tutte le cose che si possono fare in un'escursione in montagna. Se per� non volete portarvi da mangiare al sacco, potete approfittare del rifugio-agriturismo della signora Franca Monti (e potete anche passarvi la notte o qualche giorno di vacanza). Da provare sono la polenta col brasato, la polenta taragna, i pizzoccheri, le carni con i funghi, le giardiniere, le conserve in agrodolce, le marmellate, i dolci, il vino di sambuco. I posti a tavola sono 30, i posti letto sono 16, e l'apertura � per tutto l'anno. Il rifugio � dotato di corrente elettrica, riscaldamento con camini e stufe a legna, docce. I servizi igienici sono all'interno. Il costo del pernottamento � di lire 25.000 (la prima colazione � a parte, e costa lire 3.000).

Of course, you may do everything people do when hiking in the mountains. Just in case you don't feel like carrying food in your rucksacks, don't forget you may take advantage of Ms. Franca Monti's agricultural tourism lodge (and if you like the place, you may stay overnight, too). A few suggestions on what to order--polenta col brasato (polenta is a corn-flour porridge and brasato is a beef stew somewhat milder than goulash), polenta taragna (same as polenta, but made with a flour ground from a local grain), pizzoccheri (flat, ribbon-like noodles made with the same flour used to make polenta taragna, served with butter, local cheese, and spinach), vino di sambuco (wine brewed from elder flowers). Thirty people can sit at the tables, while there is sleeping place for only 16. The lodge is open all year round. Electrical power is 220 VAC and heating is provided by fire-places and wood-burning stoves. Showers and toilets are inside the building. You can expect to pay �13 per person per night (you must add �1.50 for breakfast). It is better to book in advance--call 0341495968 from anywhere within Italy or +390341495968 from abroad but try to speak Italian or have someone ready to translate.
