I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the Universit� catholique de Louvain , Belgium in 2002. My dissertation looked at the determinants of unemployment and regional/skill mismatches in European labor markets. My current research focuses on the study of health and socio-economic inequalities and the role played by the welfare state.
