Jouyessance are an SCA based medieval dance band based in the Canton of Stowe on the Wowld in the Barony of Rowany in the Kingdom of Lochac . The dance band formed in 2003, when we were known as the Stowegian Happy Happy Dance Band and our first event we played for was Flametree Ball in St. Malachy . We only knew 10 songs back then. Jouyessance happened when Helene came onto the scene and Finn and Firkasse jumped at the chance of finally having a group to make some music with. We haven't looked back. Along the way, we have been joined by Peter, Tatia, Elissa and others from time to time, bringing more vibrancy with them. While we happily admit we're not perfect, we're having a great time getting there and we're all as mad as cut snakes, which means we laugh...lots!
