| Absolute HDTV Calibrations goal is to extract the highest level of performance from your display, taking into account your individual viewing and listening habits and preferences as well as the capabilities of your display. ISF Calibration includes optimization of front panel controls, setting colors to SMPTE standards, white levels to the reference D65 or 6500 Kelvin, and proper greyscale for accurate black and white details. We will optimize the performance of your display, whether it is CRT, Plasma Panel, DLP, LCD, or LCOS and will extract the best image from all source materials including DVD, HDTV, DTV, and NTSC. We have special expertise in Sony (SXRD) and Samsung displays and offer ISF calibration services on all other displays, including Hitachi, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Pioneer (Elite), JVC (including D-ILA), Fujitsu, and Vidikron. We are located in Sacramento and serves the greater Sacramento metropolitan area, including West Sacramento, Woodland, Davis, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Folsom, Orangevale, Rancho Cordova, El Dorado, Roseville, Rocklin, Auburn, Lincoln and on request, beyond. |

| What is ISF Calibration and Why should I calibrate my new HDTV? Your HDTV, whether in a living room or in a dedicated home theater, is the last link in a chain that began on a movie set or in a TV production studio. Directors and Cinematographers spend millions of dollars getting the "look" just right for their movies. In order to experience a program as those who produced it intended, your HDTV or display device must be calibrated to the same standards! Fortunately, both the NTSC (current standard) and HDTV (currently rolling out) systems have both set forward the exact same standards when it comes to something called "color temperature." What is the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) and why is its certification important? ISF is the premiere display standards organization and is exclusively focused on the end product, what the viewer sees! They provide feedback to manufacturers, train calibrators like Absolute HDTV Calibrations, generate media communications promoting picture quality in magazines like Home Theater, Audio Video Interiors, and Stereophile's Guide To Home Theater, and license products that meets it's strict standards for "high fidelity video." The ISF even consults with and licenses the manufacturers of the state of the art test instrumentation used by Absolute HDTV Calibrations and required to perform proper video display calibration.
