| Commenting:: Dan Montoya January 2004 Excellent account of the oral presentation we heard form Uncle Richard in 2002. Personally, I didn't realize it was Kit Carson that was involved in this incident. I thought they were just Ute raiders. Also, the exiled ladies, I thought stood on Mt. Taylor. Replying: Kialo Folsomito Hello cousin. Yes I agree Uncle Richard did present an interesting account of our family history. I know he stated that our great-grandfather's name was Sala, but through my research it is Salaz. I do have to double check on my report of Kit Carson's campaign on our family. If anybody knows any other information told to you please email and I will post. Could you restate your statement of how the exiled ladies 'stood' on Mt. Taylor. |
