I let this week go pretty lazy and normal, I went to all my classes this week, watched way too much Australian soap operas, and I've started becoming quite the night OWL, wandering around the city at night. I'm sure if my family knew they would be rather annoyed, but they also know this is how I am. If you would be looking for me at 2am at home, I would more then likely be walking around, heading for a late night cruse of Meijers store or the colleges 24 hour computer labs. That is something I'm really missing here, places like Kroger, Meijer, Steak n' Shake, and the Waffle House. I need a nice 24 hour hang to wander late at night. Most of the Fish and Chips place are open, but its still lacking just a bit. So here I am walking around late at night, well not too later, about 10, just when it gets dark.
Friday night I went to a party with three of my roomies, it wasn't much of a party, us four, a spanish guy and about five irish fellows, but hey the irish out numbered the foreigners, and the guys outnumbered the girls, so it was nice. But oh yeah, it was less a party and more of an excuse to drink. When we got there they switched up the music and the first thing they put on was U2 Best of 80-90, which was swell. After the party we went to the college Bar, and I saw a lot fo friends from classes. I stayed out late, and we walked home in the rain, it was a nice night.
Spent what seemed like the rest fo the weekend watching tv. First it was my introduction to Rugby, its sure growing on me, I miss my hockey so its nice to see a bit of violence of tv. chee hehe. Gooooooooo Munster. Then I watched all six hours of Pride and Prejudice, which introduced me to my irish roommate's perfect man, Mr. Colin Firth. very nice, but that only led to my english roommate forcing us to watch an Adaptation of Cinderella's Slipper and the Rose, because she had to share her perfect man, Richard Chamberlain. My mom loves Richard Chamberlain. Cheehehehe. It was a nice weekend.
