My, this weekend has been quite touristy. Saturday I did nothing but sleep, not touristy but I think I can put it up with my top ten most lazy days in the world. Sunday me and some of the roomies took a bus up to Blarney Castle. The Castle was huge and beautiful. We had to climb up these really rocking stairs to get to the top and the view was amazing. I didn't kiss the Blarney stone, but everyone who reads this must be amazed with my wonderful eloquence without kissing a rock. Maybe someday I'll meet a guy named Blarney. Hmmm that's a thought.

We had to climb back down the rocking steps and on the way back down, they were quite a bit less rocking and a bit more tumble tumble pain ahhhh the end ouch death, but in the end the squirrel survived unscathed, and wandered off to more squirrel fun and excitement. After touring the castle we got slightly stranded in this little town, so I freezingly wandered up and down this small street and then just before the bus arrived I found this whole shopping mall a block over that I missed. I did purchase a key chain that said Mullen that made me chuckle. Then off to home.

Yesterday was really nice, I spent about five hours wandering around the city and window shopping. I went to a lot of music and book stores and spent hours staring at things. I'm totally annoyed because I'm surounded by great U2 videos but I can't buy them becaue the european tapes won't work on my VCR in the states. I'm about to do the whole swich-a-roo and buy the video, take full enjoyment out of watching it a few times here, and then bring it back to the store.
