������� Welcome to Follow My Journey. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is J.D. and this is my journey on the road to success.
��������� I'll start buy telling you a little about myself. I am in my late twenties and live in the southwestern United States. I have a great life here in a small town with a population of about 80,000. I have a good career, nice home and great family and friends. I can't complain, life is good.
��������� Like most� everyone I have many dreams and goals, to many to list here without boring you to death. My #1 goal is to be a successful entrepreneur and financially independent. It has recently dawned on me that here I am approaching 30 and have not taken one step towards fulfilling my dreams.
����������� I sat down a few months back and starting thinking about what steps I could take towards making my dreams a reality. With limited time and resources on my hands I knew I would need to find something easy that wouldn't require a lot of time or money. My goal is to open my own business in my town, not an online or mail order company. I want to do something here in the community, but I need a starting point. I was trying to find a way to bring in extra cash to pay off my bills and start saving capital for my future endeavors. As you might have guess by now all I found was MLM companies, mail order rip offs and pyramid scams. I know that kind of business is not for me. I want to achieve my goals and fulfill my dreams, but not at the price of trying to pressure people into buying junk or ripping them off. So I decided to get creative and do something of my own. What did I come up with? Follow My Journey.
������� The concept is this. Reality shows are all the rage right now. People seem to enjoy stories of inspiration and success (I know I do anyway). So I thought I would post a website (this one) and let people Follow My Journey to find out if I'm going to succeed or fail. As I continue to live my normal life of going to work and paying the bills, I will also be plugging away trying to promote this site in search engines, news groups, free/small fee advertising services and banner swaps. I'm starting off small using a free webhosting and email service. I'm using a very simple webpage. If I should happen to gain enough of an audience I will expand and upgrade my site and seek sponsors and sell advertising. As this site grows Follow My Journey will always remain� free to my readers, but I am asking for contributions. To some of my readers this may sound like I'm asking for a hand out or something for nothing, but I view myself has a cyber street performer. I perform my creative work as a form of entertainment.� If you are entertained or inspired by� what I am doing I ask that� you contribute what you feel it was worth nothing more(please note that I can only accept contributions in $1.00 increments).After one month of promotion I will continually update this site on the weekly basis. The weekly updates will contain the following:
����� 1. The exact dollar amount I have received to date from contributions.
����� 2� The exact dollar amount I have received to date from sponsors and advertisers.
����� 3. The total dollar amount I have received the week prior to the update.
����� 4. A ongoing journal of my journey on the road to success, which will contain what steps I have taken towards the fulfillment of my dreams. What work I have done and plan to do on the website. What I have done or plan to do with funds received.
������� All funds I receive at the present time will be used to improve the website and pay off debts. After having paid all debts, all funds received from that point on will go towards the improvement of the website and the accumulation of start up capitol towards my future business. I do not know exactly what business I will start. I will be researching and continually updating you the audience on what I have learned and� what I plan to do in the future. Please note that I am new to running a website. I know it doesn't look like much now, but I plan to improve that as I learn more. Please bear with me.
