| FOLKASAURUS A nostalgic look back at Times, People and Things that link to the Folk scene. The initial information, photographs and memories come from me and relate mainly to my area the Fylde area of Lancashire England and things that I grew up with in my life in the Folk Scene. This year 2001 I look back on 40 years in the Folk Scene and more since I first learned to play an instrument, 40 years! and it only seems like yesterday when I was singing shanties with my two brothers, Alan and George (I was the only one left of us whose voice hadn't broken!) Some of the information/ramblings on these pages will I hope be enjoyable or re-kindle lost memories I'm sure some of the "facts" may be in dispute but they are my memories of things and times as I recall them and as they say "If you can remember the 60's you weren't there!"
