OBJECTIVES OF THE NEWMARKET MAIN STREET FOLK AND BLUES FESTIVAL:
· To promote the revitalization of downtown Newmarket through a
celebration of folk, blues and jazz music in venues on or near old Main
Street.
· To offer general audiences high quality musical entertainment.
· To create opportunities to showcase local musicians, singers,
songwriters, and performing artists through a festival offering both ticketed
concerts by well-known professional performers and free theme-based events.
