Will Mick Foley make a return to the WWE - doubt it! Through his amazing career, Foley has taken that many bumps and bruises that I think Foley is far too banged up to make a return to the ring.
Mick Foley retired as a wrestler in 2001, then as Commisioner a year later, so he can spend more time with his lovely wife and kids, and with the progress of his career as a writer, I doubt if he will ever make a return to the WWE again.
At the moment, Foley is entrenched in his writing, and is finishing his sixth book in just over four years, Tietam Brown, which will be released in July.
Mick has been offered a number of positions in various organizations since he left the WWE last year, namely the NWA:TNA who proposed a very good offer in an attempt to snare the hardcore legend, to no avail.
It appears that not even the fame and money that comes with proffessional wrestling can draw him back to put his body on the line anymore and while this is a sad thing for every wrestling fan alive, it is good to see that Mick has gotten past this stage of his life and has moved on to bigger and better things. |
