Ihave been breeding Scottish Fold Cats for the past 12years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
My kittens are raised in my home and are part of my family. I fell in love with the breed when I saw them years ago at a cat show. They have the sweetest little faces with their big eyes and little folded ears. After aquiring my first "Foldies" I just had to tell everyone I knew about them. They are the sweetest cats.
They sit up like little prairie dogs when they are intently concentrating on something and when completely relaxed you can find them in the "Buddah" position. They are a joy to watch and play with and they are a people cat who love their owners.
The first Scottish Folds were discovered in Scotland in 1961 at a shepards farm. The mother was a white shorthaired cat named "Susie". William Ross aquired "Snooks" who was identical to her mother and started breeding her and the Scottish Fold was on its way to becoming a new breed in the Cat Fancy World.
All Scottish Folds have the same wonderful personality and characteristics , whether folded ears of straight ears so please consider either of these types for the new addition to your family!!
