Attaching the Leaf to the Stem

Open up the stem from the side, somewhere
near the bottom.
Place the base of the leaf at the middle of
the stem. The ridge at the middle of the stem should fit the slot at the base
of the leaf.
Redo the folds you unfolded in the stem to
close it.
Slide the leaf along the stem as high as you
like. It can be freely adjusted anytime.
Completed rose with calyx, stem, and leaf.
The stem may be trimmed to desired length. If this is your first complete rose
I know you’ll be tempted to show/give this to someone else.
