| A lot of people ignore the presence of God in their lives and they end up living very miserable lives.Though successful, they lack that inner peace which other people have.Personally ,i have really looked forward to letting people know about Christ and his Glory but people are just either too busy or too excited to listen and react. Rather unfortunate that millions of people are dying every day without Christ in their lives. You and I have the responsibilities to tell them about Christ. Many at times when we should reach out and touch lives, we are busy buring ourselves in our own pleasures and concerns. Basically, i have come to notice that a lot of people in this present world, worry solely about their personal satisfaction and not that of others. For years i was like that and never appreciated what it is like to be defficient of LOVE and NEEDS until God opened my inner sight to see what is was like to lack these things. Let me give you a very good example, people use to say to me, my father just died, i lost my uncle, i don't have a mum and so on and very casually or you know how we say we are sorry just to be nice when actually we don't really feel that way. I have been saying sorry to people not because i feel them but because everyone knows is nice to show some form of sympathy to people in such condition. My whole view of that changed when my sister died. She happened to be the only girl in my family consisting of four other boys. After her death and all the half hearted condolenses, i had a changed view about LIFE and DEATH. A month later one of my friends lost his brother and i held him close and wept with him because i had tasted such moments before. My point is this, i could actually feel his situation. This case is very relative to our present ways of life. We don't think about some things or just care less about those things unless we have a personal encounter with such things. We can actually feel for the berieved without having to undergo their present predicament. We don't have to fall ILL to feel the PAINS the sick are going through. We don't have to starve to feel what the hungry feel like. We don't have to LACK to feel what the destitute go through. All it takes within us is to open our hearts to God and to fulfill his commandment " LOVE YOUR NEIHGBOUR AS YOURSELF" if we do this our perspective of the world will change and we will stop living for ourselves and our families alone. THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT YOU ALONE CAN TOUCH THEIR LIFES. DON'T JUST SIT THERE FOLDING YOUR ARMS . " STRETCH THEM OUT ". |
