Jack Nicholson stars as Harry Sanborn, a 63-year-old music mogul who
doesn't date women over 30. He and his latest girlfriend (Amanda Peet) drop in at the Hamptons, N.Y.,
house owned by her divorced playwright mother, Erica Barry (Diane Keaton). Later, while fooling
around, Harry suffers a heart attack and is forced to recuperate at the house. There he gets to know
and enjoy spending time with Erica, a woman almost his own age. But she has another suitor: the
handsome young doctor (Keanu Reeves) who helped save Harry's life.
