very heart of Mount Doom. The warrior Aragorn, revealed to be the lost King of Gondor, travels to

Minas Tirith with an army of undead soldiers and the remaining members of the fellowship to rescue

Tom gets offered a better job coaching at a major university, he and his wife, Kate (Bonnie Hunt),

must move the entire family. Chaos rules, because Kate is on the road promoting her just-published

memoir, leaving Tom in charge of the out-of-control clan and overwhelmed with work, at home

he is captured by them, Algren comes to understand and appreciate the complicated system of honor

shooting an ad for Suntory whiskey and a young married woman (Scarlett Johansson) with an

ambitious, neglectful husband (Giovanni Ribisi) — become fast friends after meeting in a hotel bar.

the Lost Boys. But the fun and games come to a stop when they face a mean band of pirates, led by the nasty

sets off to confront his nemesis, Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving). But to do so, he first must make a

nearly impossible journey to the machine city to strike a bargain that may end the war and save Zion,

which is under attack by sentinels, fierce battle droids sent by the thousands to wipe out the humans'

                                                    A pregnant assassin (Uma Thurman) named the Bride is shot by her

boss, Bill (David Carradine), and her co-workers at her wedding (the wedding guests are also shot).

She survives, though, waking up exceedingly angry after a four-year coma, and decides to hunt

down and kill every single one of the assassins who were responsible, saving Bill for last. The

three-hour film was divided into two parts, this one and Volume 2.
