Logical thinking
is especially important in today’s dynamic society, and this can be
strengthened through tertiary education. I truthfully believe that the tertiary
education is a path, which can equip myself to be an outstanding individual in
society.
I have tremendous
interest in pure science.
By applying
what I have learnt in the class to the experiments, I found that chemistry is
really challenging and enjoyable. Besides, chemists are of high demand due to
its profession. Therefore, I assure that studying chemistry is a golden key for
me to achieve my goal.
Alternatively, being an author is also the important objective I
hope to accomplish. There are many
ways to tell readers what the author is thinking about; indeed, language is the
unique choice because it is widespread, and thus I’ve got the motivation to
study language. I
cannot deny the fact that there are still rooms for my language proficiency to
be developed, however, I would treasure the study opportunity in universities
to overcome such a deficiency.
Apart from academic interests, my active contribution in extra curricular activities is an inevitable proof to my leadership and organizing skills. I have been a prefect team leader over the past two years, and I am the stage monitor managing the PA system at school. Being delegated to these too designated posts, I was granted the opportunities to devote myself to serving my school, for instance, help organizing parents night, Athletic meet, singing contest etc. These functions would have been at risk in turning out into chaotic situations from time to time, but under my leadership and experience, I had solved those troubles accordingly. Thus, I have learnt how to co-operate with others, how to solve problems systematically and have to confidence in meeting challenges ahead. Moreover, I had been the function holder of the first overseas educational trip held by my school last year. This trip provided me courage to communicate with people from different communities and countries especially in using English and Mandarin as a means of communication.
Last but not the least, university is definitely the place for me to get well prepared before contributing to the society, and I am looking forward to experiencing such kind of life in order to better myself to reward the society. I would appreciate if my application is being considered. Thank You.
