The Poetry of Life's Ire

I don't know if you feel the same way, but I find that when I write poetry, it's so much more profound if the poetry expresses some kind of pain. Whether in anger, loss, or disapointment, ideas spring out of me in a much more heartfelt manner than when happy. In that light, please share with me the subtle irony of life's coincidence.
