| Only 4 more weeks until we once again re-affirm our love for frolicking merrily under the influence of alcohol. The Newbury blues have just kicked in, so let's bring on the next one - The 8th Annual Battersea Hockey Festival. The kit for the weekend is the orange shirts, white shorts and white socks. If any of you need and orange shirt, plesae contact Jobbers asap to get one ordered in time. However for the Friday night there is a cash prize of �150 for the "BEST TEAM STRIP PLUS HAIR/WIGS AND FACE PAINT", this may mean that a little extra effort to boost the kitty may be in order. So please start thinking.....(I know Rab, you find this hard but you might enjoy it) Festival Programme as follows: Friday 28th May - Settle Inn at 186 Battersea Bridge Road, Battersea and then afterwards, tickets will be issued for the Clapham Grand. Theme "Best kit" Saturday 29th May 9:00am - Festival games promptly begins at the All Weather Pitches, Battersea Park, Albert Bridge Road, London. SW11. 6:00pm - Play ends. 7:30pm - A Band will be playing at Settle Inn pub - The theme for the Saturday night is "UNDERWEAR ON PARADE", again, there is a cash prize of �150 to the winning team. Then followed by clubbing at the Clapham Grand. Sunday 30th May 9:00am - Play resumes 6:30pm - Awards Evening - Up to us, nothing arranged but lest we forget that this is a Pizza club day and we have the Monday off. Perhaps we could get drunk again......(just a thought) During the festival will host a fully-stocked hockey shop, a Pig Roast on the Saturday afternoon, band and vast quantities of alcohol and FREE orange juice provided by our sponsors while stocks last.
