Battlefield
1942First person shooter computer game where you have to get the bases under your control and defend them against the enemy. You can choose various type of land vehicles Tanks: like the heavy German Tiger the US. M10 the US. Sherman and Tank 5 or the Russian T 34. Artillery Priest and Wespe, Planes: Corsair; SBD, BF109 and my favorite the Spitfire. Bombers B17 and JUBBA Ships: PT boat, landing craft, submarine, destroyer, battleship and carrier to kill your enemy. The game has good sound and it has good graphics. But when you want the game u need these minimum requirements: 1. windows (98/2000/ME/XP) 2. 500 MHz( Intel pentium/AMD Athlon) 3. 128 RAM 4. 1.2 GB free space 5. Graphics card like nVidia GeForce 4 3 2 256 or ATI Radeon 7500 8500 and direct 8.1. And other things that you can read in the book which is in the CD box of the game. The worth thing in the single player is that the robots (bots) are very silly sometimes and they don't shoot you or they run in circles. It used to cost around $50 when it came out but now u can get it for $20. In my opinion it is a good game although it is 3 years old it makes the game fun to play and I say "YES" to the question Should I buy this game ? So I can say it is a very good game for players who like these type of games. |

There is
new a new expansion pack for the game of 2002 BATTLEFIELD 1942.The new expansion pack came out the same year as the game but a little later. The expansion pack is called battlefield 1942 The Road to Rome. It has 6 levels u can take your battle into Battle of Anzio, battle of Salerno, Monte Cassino, Monte Santa Croce, Operation Baytown and Operation Husky. It has 2 new armies- Italy and the free French. There are 8 new vehicles like the German Sturmgeschutz, American M3 Grant, Italian M11-39, Carro Armato, American M3 GMC, German At gun PAK 75, British BF 110, and the British Mosquito. New weapons like the British Sten submachine gun and more. But u need BF 1942 to play it and these things to: 1. Windows XP ME 2000 98 2. 500 MHz 3. 128 MB RAM 4. 4x CD-ROM DVD-ROM drive 5. 400 mb free 6.32 MB and video card nVidia geforce 4 3 2 256 or Radeon 7500/8500 or a Matrox Parhelia chip set. It cost around $10 that is a good price. I would buy it because you might want the next expansion set. |

The requirments are the same as The Road to Rome. Yes i would bye it because this is my favorite expansion pack of all time and it is cheap only $10 that is a good buy. It is very unique unlike the other ones. |
