| Currently we are involved in representation on various Borough Council groups including the Park Restoration Project Steering Committee which will have �4.25 million to spend on the park in the next few years, the Firework Event Committee, ParkWatch and the Parks User Panel. | ||||||||||

| F.O.C.P. organises regular events including talks, a dawn chorus walk and an annual tree walk. We have helped in the care for the borders at the Park Road entrance and are involved on some research projects all publicised in our regular newsletters. The Friends operate the 'ParkMobile' a much valued service for the people who find walking difficult. | ||||||||||
| We are an active pressure group and need as much support as possible to continue being effective. For a subscription of �5 per year per household (or just under 10p a week) you can assist at the very least by swelling the ranks of our members so that the Friends of Christchurch Park be even more able to ensure that the voice of the park users is heard when decisions are made.
