FNQ Road Racing Club Incorporated was founded in 2003 and started off
with only 12 members. In the following years to come the club has since gained
an ever increasing following and now has more than 62 financial members and
countless volunteers who help with the running of each event.
    The club utilises the facilities of the Mako Trac International Race Track,
which is about 10Km out of Mareeba along Springs Road, Far North
Queensland. The race circuit is 1345 meters per lap and these facilities are the
home of North Queensland's only international Go-Kart track and the most
northern road racing circuit for motorcycles in Queensland. The circuit has
plenty of shaded pit area provided by the custom made quick shades and also
full club house facilities which has complete track viewing by spectators.
    FNQ Road Racing Club hold race days from March through to November
and club meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month at the Speewah
Tavern, just past the Kuranda turn off
, Atherton side. Meetings start at about
7pm.
    There are a number of classes catered for from Super Sports to Super
Lights and from 125GP Bike to Super Moto (Motards) so if you feel the need
for speed we have the class for you and its all legal!
