Thought From The Author

As we all know, the Yankees are the winningest most team in baseball history with 26 World Series wins to their credit. The Yankees 2004 team is shaping up to start off right where they left off.
After Roger Clemens pitched in game 4 of the World Series he was given a standing ovation from the crowd--even though they were in the marlins stadium--because the baseball world "believed" that this was the future Hall of Famer's last major league game of his career. Andy Pettit's decision to leave the Yankees really upsets me as a fan because the caliber of pitcher he is, but I can also understand his motives for leaving: he wants to be closer to his family. Totally understandable, at least he was straight with the fans all year long and DIDN'T LIE. Below I have a picture of how I feel about the whole Clemens, Pettit situation.
