2000 Breeding Season Pics

Page 2

Late 1999 breeding season clutchmates,  RH PB NB possibly /BB hen (top) and RH WB NB possilby /BB male (bottom).  I am very proud of the hen.  To me, she is nearly perfect.  She has great lines and is not a skinny bird.  She did not need much training to sit and show while I was taking her pictures.  I guess she is like most females in that she likes her picture taken.  On the other hand, her brother did not like being in the show cage and having his pic taken.  I was lucky just toget that pic.  He is a smaller gould, not tiny, has a small hump in his neck area, none of which, depreciates him.

Parents and their first clutch.  The male is a BH WB NB/BB and the hen is BH WB YB/BB.  Their second clutch of 4 started hatching on 06/15/00.

In both of these pics you can see the same Fawn Cheek male (the white with fawn cheek patches, beige under belly zebra male).  I like the pic on the right because of the NG/cfw male either just starting to hop around or to fly away.
