| Ahhhh, the sport of Paintball. I have this love/hate relationship for this 'game'. I love playing paintball 100%, but I dislike the attitudes of 98% of the attitudes on the professional players out there. (100% of the wannabe's!) However this is what I truly enjoy about paintball: -Excitement: It is amazing how much adrenaline pumps through you when there is 100 paintballs flying all around you. Or when you have made a successfull stalk & are about to take out a person (especially when they don't expect it!) -Training: Although paintball is not the most realistic training enviroment, it does offer a few good training options. -Stress Relief: Take out that person that really bothers you and shoot them! Ha!, now if I could only get the wife out there. -Toys: You think you can waste a lot of money on real guns? Wait until you step out on the paintball field. There will be a couple guys out there that has just as much money into their gear, that I have in the Blaser or the AUG! That is a little extreme. -Teamwork: If you have a squad of guys that are a true team, you will defeat anyone, with any gun, who has a 'rambo complex' I have seen mediocre players take out a top tournament player. He had a $2000 electricphuenmatic gun, Nitro, etc. He was beat by a group of guys with $150 guns. Granted the Tourny player didn't have his cheating, snot nosed whining team with him (although he did a good job of that all by himself) He refused to play like a team member with the other guys - that is the only reason why he got hit time after time & finally got all sucked up and left....thank gawd! -Friends: You will make some good friends out there, or have something fun to do with your current ones. |
