I held a sniper slot in my rifle platoon for a short time. I was able to work with two Sgt.s who were already 4Bravo qualified. They spent quite a bit of time with me on how they constructed a ghillie suit. (this is one thing that I have found, everyone makes them different)
I am not going to go into the history of the Ghillie, because you will find it on any other 'sniper' web page out there. All I am going to do is tell you how I made one that works for me.
Basically a Ghillie is like a fighting position, you will never be done! You will constantly be improving/changing to match your enviroment.
