White Trash: The Movie
Ok, confession time. I watch The Jerry Springer Show. I can't help it, I dunno what it is, but I just get a kick out of it. I don't thrive on other people's misery, it's not that. It's just, to be honest, I enjoy seeing stupid people. I'm not saying that I'm perfect, but I'm smart enough to never have sex with my girlfriends mother's cousin's fiance. So ever since I heard there was a Jerry Springer movie, I just had to, DAMMIT!, see it! And see it I did.
Jerry Springer plays, um, Jerry. He hosts a trashy talk show filmed in Los Angeles. And we also get a glimpse into the people who eventually become guests on his show. We meet Angel, played by the hot Jamie Pressly, who is a hotel maid who gives blowjobs on the side. She lives in a trailer, of course, with her mother, Connie, and Connie's husband Rusty. Whenever Connie isn't looking, Rusy and Angel go at it.
Meanwhile, in another part of the country, Starletta walks in on her boyfriend Demond having sex with Starletta's friend Vonda. She calls Jerry and secures her spot on the show.
While Connie was out at work, Rusty and Angel were getting it on, but Connie came home early and found them out. Furious, Connie went down the trailer park block to Willie, who is kind of sort of Angel's boyfriend, and, well, she went down on Willie. After she wiped her mouth, she called Jerry.
Jerry flies the white trash and the ghetto fabolous people to L.A where interesting things happen behind the scenes. Angel and Demond hook up, Willie walks in on them getting it on, Starletta is constantly jealous of any girl looking at Demond and wants to kick Angel's ass, Rusty doesn't want anything to do with anyone and leaves, and all the females in both camps wanna get it on with Jerry.
We also meet a guy who works for Jerry, named Troy, who ends up sleeping with a transvestite named Claire. Claire confesses this on the air and Jerry brings Troy out, who passes out on camera.
The day of the show comes and Angel, Willie, and Connie go on and Willie admits that he and Angel never have sex and she is pregnant with Rusty's kid, AND she had sex the night before with Demond, which sets off Starletta and a big ass fight ensues. Then while Jerry is giving a "Interesting Observation" some preacher guy gets up and says everyone is evil for watching this show and the guest are even worse. Then Jerry tells us what he really thinks: everyone on the show represents the true America, as do the people who watch the show, so GO TO HELL!!
JERRY!! JERRY!! JERRY!!
Connie and Angel, after the show, get over the whole thing and decide to raise Angel's kid together. Starletta dumps Demond, but something tells me he'll do alright. While going back to the trailer park, Connie and Angel meet up with their new neighbor, a big hunk o' man. Jerry, I assume, has a ho waiting for him.
I gotta say, I was surprised, I liked this movie. Plus there was plenty of nudity and Jamie Pressly in her undies, so that helped a lot. Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta get ready, my ex-girlfriend's best friend's neighbor daughter is coming over.
