He doesn�t look like a human insect. No, that�s not an insult�just Eric Stoltz�s latest role. In Fly II, the freckle-faced young actor makes a convincing insect! But Eric, born in American Samoa, revels in challenging roles. Remember Mask, where he played Rocky Dennis, the courageous teen with a disfiguring disease? Yet Eric, a former USC student, is also able to move easily to lighter roles in flicks such as Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Some Kind of Wonderful. The guitar-playing actor found his calling at the age of 10, when he joined a theater group. Though Eric, a vegetarian, has many outside interests, acting is his main love. And he�s bagged some great parts of late. Such as? Eric will be portraying romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley in the film Haunted Summer. Another welcome challenge for the versatile actor!
