Specification 1. 25dB maximum insertion loss, better than -20dB return loss from 88-108MHz. Maximum insertion loss occurs at 108MHz. 2. RF connectors are not included. A coax can be soldered directly or PC mount N connectors may be used. We do not sell RF connectors and coax. 3. The components used are Semco 500V metal cased micas and #14 awg machine wound inductors. This design is based on an Elenos exciter output section. 4. Mounts to customers chassis with 8-32 screws. 1/4 inch PCB standoffs or washers are required between the bottom of the PCB and chassis. Installing the filter in a metal chassis is suggested to provide shielding and good thermal conductivity in high power installations. 5. Low pass filter derating: 500 watts for normal operating conditions (1.5 SWR or less); 400 watts for SWR 1.51 to 1.70; 375 watts for all loads worse than 1.71. In FM broadcasting an SWR of 1.5 or less is a basic requirement. This low pass filter is intended for use in 50 ohm systems only. |
